By using the CrediCert app, you agree to these terms. They're written for the people actually using the app: trainees, mentors and facilitators in a SkillUp!-linked programme, not as a wall of boilerplate.
CrediCert is available to people enrolled in a SkillUp!-linked youth entrepreneurship programme, as a trainee, mentor or facilitator. If you're a trainee under 18, you're using CrediCert as part of your enrolment in the wider programme, alongside your parent, guardian or programme coordinator.
Your account is signed in with a PIN or code tied to your phone number or email. Keep it to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so tell your facilitator straight away if you think someone else has access to it.
Your business plan, task evidence and any photos you attach should be your own, accurate, and genuinely about the business you're running in the programme. Submitting evidence you know to be false or staged (a photo taken somewhere you weren't, or for work that didn't happen) can lead to tasks being rejected, your mentor or facilitator being notified, or your account being suspended.
You keep ownership of what you submit. By submitting it, you allow CrediCert and SkillUp! to use it to run the programme, including showing it to your mentor and facilitator, and using it to issue certificates, and, only with your separate agreement, for programme reporting or promotional material.
Certificates and sign-offs reflect an assessment made by a mentor or facilitator against the programme's own criteria. They're not a government qualification unless the programme says so, and they're not a guarantee that any particular business will succeed.
Don't use CrediCert to:
CrediCert is actively developed and may change. Features get added, adjusted or removed as the programme's needs change. We'll try to avoid losing your plan or evidence data when that happens, but we can't promise the app will always be available without interruption.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, submits knowingly false evidence, or is used to harass or harm others in the programme. Where we can, we'll tell you and your facilitator why.
CrediCert is provided as part of the SkillUp! programme, as-is, without guarantees that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, SkillUp! and CrediCert aren't liable for losses arising from your use of the app, beyond what the law requires.
These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, where the programme operates.
If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll let participants know through the app or through their programme facilitator before it takes effect.
